Company Information:
At its peak, Foxworth Galbraith employed over 2,700 employees but due to the economy the company closed plant operations and now has a lean workforce of 700 employees. Foxworth-Galbraith is a 100 year old, family owned business with a multi-state operation. The company supplies and distributes building materials for commercial and residential use.
Project Information:
Foxworth-Galbraith engaged CCG to complete a project to evaluate the company’s HR technology/Time and Attendance options for moving from the current Lawson ERP system, in-house system to an outsourced SaaS or fully outsourced HRIS/Payroll/Time system. The project scope included conducting an outsourcing financial and functional feasibility analysis. The financials proved to be favorable and the company decided to utilize CCG to conduct an RFP project to evaluate Time and Attendance, Payroll, and HRIS vendors. From its database of 150 HR vendors housing current system functionality, CCG and the Foxworth 7 member evaluation team defined the business requirements and then created the vendor RFP document. CCG then developed a custom question ranking metric to weight the value of the business requirements against the vendor responses and capabilities. The evaluation included system demonstrations, requirements/capabilities analysis, and proposal negotiations with 4 finalist vendors. After completing the evaluation, Foxworth selected Ultimate Software as their vendor partner based upon the results and favorable financial terms that were negotiated. From start to finish, CCG successfully executed the project in a total of 5 weeks, one week ahead of schedule. This enabled Foxworth to secure an optimal go live implementation date. Financially, CCG secured pricing for Foxworth with Ultimate Software at 15% below market cost discount and negotiated a rate guarantee for 3 years.
