Project Information:

Patriot Transportation engaged CCG to conduct and manage the RFP process for the selection of a new Payroll/HRIS and Time and Attendance system to replace the company’s current legacy ADP payroll system, PCPW and Stromberg Time system. With the 3 member evaluation team, CCG assisted in creating the business requirements document, defining a budget, and creating the RFP. CCG helped Patriot redefine a pay structure for its truck drivers that included a complex calculation of mileage and tonnage that was included in the business requirements document. CCG conducted an onsite vendor evaluation project that consisted of evaluating 3 Payroll/HRIS providers. CCG introduced Patriot to a provider, ExponentHR, that was relatively new to the market and would have otherwise not been discovered or selected to provide services by Patriot. Because ExponentHR had the desire to expand its reach into the Florida market, CCG was able to negotiate a 3 year service agreement and rate guarantee 40% below market price. The fully integrated Payroll/Time/HRIS system came at a price point lower than the current annual spend for the ADP payroll only solution. The total project was completed on schedule in 6 weeks total. Four years later, Patriot continues to utilize ExponentHR.
